John entered real estate after a poor experience as a tenant, which shaped his belief that property transactions should be handled with clarity, fairness, and strong customer service. He earned his Minnesota real estate license in 2010 and began his career in residential leasing and property management, where he managed and leased hundreds of properties across the Twin Cities.
That hands-on management background gives John a practical understanding of how properties function beyond the transaction — from maintenance and operations to tenant considerations and long-term value. In 2014, he shifted his focus to representing buyers and sellers, working across traditional residential sales, investment properties, and small-scale commercial real estate, including office, retail, and warehouse spaces.
In addition to his real estate background, John has been a small business owner since 2006 across a variety of business types. This experience gives him a keen understanding of what matters most to business owners when buying, selling, or leasing space — including cash flow, flexibility, risk, and growth.
